Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 2026
Our Standard
Freelanced Nepal exists to connect skilled professionals with businesses across Nepal in a trusted, professional environment. These guidelines define the conduct we expect from every member of our community — Employers and Freelancers alike.
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, depending on severity and history.

Review Integrity
Our review system depends on honesty. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Incentivising reviews — offering discounts, bonuses, or extra work in exchange for positive feedback
- Creating fake accounts to leave reviews for yourself
- Coordinating with others to leave positive reviews for each other (review rings)
- Threatening users unless they leave positive feedback
- Submitting reviews for transactions that did not take place
Identity and Profile Standards
- Your display name must reflect your real name or your business name
- Profile photos must be a clear, recent image of yourself (not a logo, avatar, or stock photo)
- Freelancer profiles must accurately reflect your genuine skills and experience
- You may not impersonate another individual, business, or entity
Verified accounts (those who have completed KYC) carry a verification badge and are held to higher identity standards. Misrepresentation during KYC is a criminal offence under Nepal law.
